WHEN WILL BOOK THIRTEEN BE OUT!?

Once again, I'm starting to get this question already – which, thank you very much, it's a great compliment and a wonderful problem to have. The answer is much the same as it was last time. Book Thirteen will be out:

Just as soon as I can possibly get it written.
Hopefully in Q1 of 2017, but it's too early in the process to be sure.
As soon as it's possible to announce a launch date, you will hear it first in the facebook group, as well as on the mailing list.
If you want more frequent updates, mainly about the writing process, as usual I'm tweeting them.
The only thing more important than getting the book out fast is getting it PERFECT - and that's A LOT more important. I've been incredibly gratified by your reactions to Book Twelve, and that one has a set a standard of quality that I intend to hold up - and to exceed. This is the climax and conclusion of the series, and it has to be amazing. You guys absolutely deserve no less. As always, thank you for waiting - and, mainly, thanks for taking this ride with me. It truly means everything.

Fuchs is the author of the novels The Manuscript and Pandora's Sisters, both published worldwide by Macmillan in hardback, paperback and all e-book formats (and in translation); the D-Boys series of high-tech, high-concept, spec-ops military adventure novels – D-Boys, Counter-Assault, and Close Quarters Battle (coming in 2016); and is co-author, with Glynn James, of the bestselling Arisen series of special-operations military ZA novels. The second nicest thing anyone has ever said about his work was: "Fuchs seems to operate on the narrative principle of 'when in doubt put in a firefight'." (Kirkus Reviews, more here.)

Fuchs was born in New York; schooled in Virginia (UVa); and later emigrated to the San Francisco Bay Area, where he lived through the dot-com boom. Subsequently he decamped for an extended period of tramping before finally rocking up in London, where he now makes his home. He does a lot of travel blogging, most recently of some very long walks around the British Isles. He's been writing and developing for the web since 1994 and shows no particularly hopeful signs of stopping.
